This piece is hand stretched canvas, acrylic paint, 36x36 inches. A naked self portrait with symbolism overlay. For me this piece happened at a point in time when I really needed a reflection- a self-reset, self recognition, self empowerment, and self worth. I was growing a lot, and there was so much changing around me. This portrait was painted to help me ground in who I was, and who I (at the time) was becoming.
