Sometimes in life we are met with distractions- things that look like play but we are actually using to escape. People have been an escape from me for a long time. Love is a drug, isn't that what they say. This skateboard painting was the longing and desire to feel someone's touch again coming to the surface. This was painted mid 2020 and I don't think I had intimately touched someone for 6 months or so.

May this painting bring acceptance of a situation, and healing of addictions to it's owner.
