In Norse practice, what we know as a soul didn’t exist until Christians touched the Norse traditions. This painting is a painting of the Hugr (the spirit in your mind) and the Hamr (the skin, the body) working together in unison. This is how I feel when my Hamr and Hugr are speaking and working in unison. It is a powerful momentum and gravity when they are aligned.
